Trading is a journey of continuous learning and refinement. None of us can control every outcome, but we can focus on making better decisions, adapting to changing conditions, and improving our position one move at a time.
My Trading Approach
I began trading in 2014, spending years studying the markets and experimenting with different approaches. In mid-2024, I made a renewed commitment to becoming more intentional about my development as a trader and taking my trading to the next level. The journey has been full of challenges, lessons, setbacks, and small victories—each one helping shape the way I approach the markets today.
My trading currently focuses primarily on liquid index products, using both options and futures depending on the opportunity. Most of my trades are short-term in nature, ranging from intraday to several days, with a strong emphasis on risk management. I also occasionally trade individual stocks around specific catalysts, such as earnings announcements and other event-driven setups, primarily through options strategies.
Today, my trading is primarily focused on two areas. The first is my personal options account, where I continue to develop and refine my options strategies. The second is my futures prop trading journey through Apex Trader Funding, where I'm working toward building consistency across both evaluation and funded accounts.
I also have a stock trading evaluation account through Trade The Pool. While I plan to revisit that program in the future, it is currently on hold as I focus my attention on the options and futures side of my trading.
For those interested, I've included links to some of my trading performance and progress. This includes my Kinfo profile for my personal options account, as well as periodic updates on my Apex prop trading journey as it continues to evolve.
